John C. Vitek has been a practicing lawyer in the areas of business, tax and corporation law in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for over 25 years. John graduated, with distinction, from the Nebraska College of Law in 1985, where he also served as an Executive Editor of the Nebraska Law Review and was a member of the Order of the Coif.
John has been a frequent speaker to business and professional groups on tax matters, and has authored a number of articles on tax topics, including “Tax Aspects of the Formation and Initial Operations of a Real Estate Limited Partnership,” which appeared in THE TAX LAWYER, the publication of the Taxation Section of the American Bar Association. Prior to entering private practice, John served as law clerk to Chief Justice Norman Krivosha of the Nebraska Supreme Court.
John is a member of the Wisconsin State Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and the U.S. Tax Court. John serves on the boards of directors and “advisory boards” of a number of closely-held companies.
